I always buy whatever synthetic is on sale. I enjoy lattes. So long as the oil has an API logo and you are buying the recommended weight you are set. I've never heard of someone having engine problems related to the oil brand they use. If the Mazda oil was the holy grail that had no...

    Buying Advice - Used 2016 CX-5 GT

I agree about the AWD setup. If my wife didn't drive 70 miles/day I would have gone with it. We are already feeling cramped in the cx5 with a newborn so I'm closely following the cx9. If we make that jump I'll likely eat the poor AWD mileage for the sheer fact that consumers in NW PA generally...

    Buying Advice - Used 2016 CX-5 GT

Thanks for clarifying your incentives. People claiming getting 10% off MSRP on a Mazda are very likely doing it with incentives. Which has nothing to do with negotiating.

    Buying Advice - Used 2016 CX-5 GT

I would buy. The cx5 is Mazdas second best selling vehicle after the Mazda 3. Meaning they have no incentive to "give them away".

    Buying Advice - Used 2016 CX-5 GT

Of the 4 most recent prices posted all are below 10%. How did you pay before taxes and fees and what is your configuration. I can't see signatures on mobile. True car isn't for serious hagglers, it's for those who want a hassle free experience. The price the OP was given is a hassle free...

It can. Where? I'm curious how you got a brand new car 10% below MSRP.

    Buying Advice - Used 2016 CX-5 GT

This is a good deal. According to true car the average person buying a 2016 cx5 fwd with tech, isctivesense and roof rack is paying 2.7% below MSRP. Your price is 10.5% below and you get a longer warranty than a brand new car. Generally 10% is considered a damn good amount off MSRP in a brand...

2016.5 Did they change the frame

No change. I would recommend you get a curt, model 13127. It's around 120 with free shipping on Amazon and a lot of owners here have it and really like it.

Michelin Premier LTX 225/55/19 in stores this June!!!

That size will not only upsize the width but the diameter of the tire as well.

    How are the stock tires?

I went with 215/65/17. Has the same load rating as the stock tires. Technically with this size at 60mph the car is actually traveling about 58.5 mph. The reviews for the xice3 led me to believe it was worth it over the 2.

    How are the stock tires?

I got a set of Michelin xice 3 for the winter. Very happy with them. So I don't know how the toyos do in the winter, but probably just ok.

    Oil change

You should change it twice a year. I'm curious though, why buy a brand new car if you drive so little? We average 1200 a month.

Very disapointing fuel economy from recent roadtrip...

The significant decrease in mileage has to do with the fact there is an exponential relationship between speed and drag, rather than linear. Here is a simple article explaining it. http://www.mpgforspeed.com

    Question about break-in experience

Averaging 31.7 mpg with the FWD. our mileage actually dropped by 0.75 mpg after switching from the 17 inch Michelin winter tires to the 19 inch toyos. The winter wheel and tire set I have is about 8lbs a tire lighter.
