Search this site, there's posts about disabling the touch function which seems to fix the ghost issues. If you don't use the touch (most don't) could save some bucks and headaches.

Search the site for ghost touch or something similar, there's posts detailing how to do it. It's not as easy as selecting options in one of the menus. I think you have to remove radio and cut or jumper a wire or two. If you can't do it you can probably find a radio shop to do it. Lot cheaper...

My theory is that they disabled it to prevent the Ghost Touch problem. My 2019 needed the fix and they covered it although my warranty was beyond 3 years. Since the 2024 now has it, I am guessing they fixed the root cause.
