I can source Monroe, (which is a brand I trust and use on my expedition vehicles and work truck with great results) locally. That way when warranty comes around I can just order a new one, and get credit back when I return the blown one.

yeah my lights are doing the same, I doubt its due to anything with the HID. more with age and blast from the highway. I may order a new set of housings over the winter and replace them this spring. I was going to do the polish but someone said it only works for a short period.

That's what I figured as well when I looked at these LED systems. With HID, I find the color temp more annoying than actual beam scatter in vehicles comeing at me. 6000k with that horrible blue color and up is brutal coming at you even with properly designed units. Look at the new corolla...

I need these HID. they look like they will fill out our lighting just right. Has anyone run 55w in the high beam? I am thinking about going 55w 4300K in my highs and 35w 4300K in my low.

it is the silver flexy stuff, but there is so much air coming into your airbox and through the filter it does not matter about smooth or rough. I ran my integra like this for years, and it works great. I Gained 1/2 a sec in the 1/4 mile by just doing this, with more low end torque as well...

I think mine are too far gone to clean, I would have to put a lot of elbow grease into that. Just rather silicone some covers and be done, and I wont be rep'in them as real don't worry. Just nice and tidy under the wheels.

I have 2 sets of wheels and tires. I run Toyo garrit winter tires and something for full rain grip in the summer. I am do for new summer tires, and wheels so I am not sure what we will be running.
