Just reading about the AC issue. I am after having 2 compressors and the new one now is making the same noise as before. Does anyone have any ideas why this is? I know they used used compressors. Its making a racket again and im some what pissed about that.

Nobody said the original motor would be in there buddy! A crate LS7 with a supercharger will be going under the hood, and its a fine daily driver. Gets great milage until you put your foot in it. The wife and I have been discussing this car and we are actively searching for the car now...

I had a bad clunk in the back, I replaced the rear struts, but the rear upper mount was rusted so bad it fell out after the bottom bolt was removed. Clunk gone.

Well, we are at 130,000 since my last post here. Everything is great with the 5 besides some rust coming out around the back fender edges. I am getting that fixed and the full car painted before summer. We need a roof rack and going to get the rhino rack for it.

We are 100 percent satisfied, and the warranty is awesome too.

Just got my summer rims installed with new cooper RS3-A tires. They are very nice tire for the 5. comfortable and great in rain.

Good to know. I like the less aggressive tread and sidewall compared to my Goodyear GTs. I am pleased so far.

I just got the call my new tires are in for the 5. Can't wait to get them on. The goodyear GTs were worn bad, and causing funky driving characteristics. The new tires have a more rounded sidewall too so Grabbing rain grooves will me lessend now, and I think that will cure my rubbing...
