I am under the impression that if you're interested in some sort of extended warranty from the original manufacturer that you have to apply for it or purchase it like before half way thru the original bumper to bumper. Or maybe that was for commercial vehicles...

After a slight delay ( had to order some parts... then sneak it back in for an appointment ), got the work done at the dealer in Middletown - they finished it up on Thursday... new intake manifold and fuel rail, too... and no charge. And the car just turned 79K...

Right on the recall call... I called back my local dealer this morning to verify ( I've got an '03, and he hasn't asked yet what my mileage is ) and he told me that it's a recall and I will not be paying for the work performed... which I happen to feel pretty good about.

open recall Hope you get that squared away. I've got an '03 with 78K on it... purchased used in April '07 with 21K on it... I just called Mazda to check on this recall and my car needs to go in... so it's scheduled for next Tuesday... Again... good luck!

Great rally... very high attrition, it seemed... I didn't stay for the end, but if he kept it on the road, Seamus Burke had what looked like the strongest car there... Here's an oldie but a goodie ( didn't finish though... ) RX-3 I'll definately have to get back into the habit and spectate...
