Take off the strut bar, move some of the hoses on the passenger side (have to remove some of the bolts holding the clamps) and it will come out of the top. It does take some finagaling but it will come out. I have gotten my alternator changes on our car down to about 15min.

Check in the how to section for detailed instructions, but basically you have to remove the interior to remove the headliner to remove the bolts holding it in from the bottom. Then you want the filler strips to fill the gaps left from where they used to be. And to prevent leaks in the screw holes.

This is my 3rd winter with my p5 and I finally put new snow tires on it this year. I am using Nokian Nordman2 and they make a huge difference. However, the car still is not the tank that my 97 Maxima was in the snow. Gonna chaulk it up to overall mass of the vehicle for that.

I did a couple years ago. I used an ebay kit with the H3 bulb. a little trimming was required on the back og the bulb to make it fit, but it worked.

Yeah most likely bad caliper. These cars are notorious for going through brakes. I have already replaced the rears once and the fronts twice in less than 3 years.

Get a carfax report for it. If he doesn't have one already, it is worth the $30 or so it costs you to get it. I almost bought one in pretty much the same situation. After a bunch of prying I found out it was a salvaged title, walked away from it and found a better one a few months later. good luck.
