    Let's see some Mazda3 5-doors

I believe 225/40's are closer in the 18" size to the OE diameter than 45's. I run 225/45's-17's on mine and they are VERY close in diameter to OE.

That's always been a problem on this thread, Andrew. For the record, I don't usually blab here, and my picture taking skills are more suited to the "recent picture" thread. Nice shots of your Miata in action though!! I miss racing.

3 Free "Mods" = Better performance

The Monzta timing mod, as it used to be known, was first known to be accomplished by a member on M3F some 7-8 yrs ago now and is accomplished by moving the crank sensor to make the ECU "think" it is in a slightly different spot (more retarded) than it is. There is approx 4* of adjustment...

That's a VERY nice shot of your bike, but I would say no. There are many other threads to post pics of your other rides here. You could even start your own, if you wish. But a decision was made some time ago to keep this thread specifically Mazda. Sorry, Bud.

What happened/is happening?? And why are you getting such terrible mileage?

What have you done to your MS3 today?

Will, after 1-1/2 yrs of the rears set to 1-3/4, or just about past mid way, I pulled the rear suspension this w/e for some other work and adjusted them about the same as yours (+1 full turn from full off) to see if road/speed bumps would be more tolerable, and they are a bit. But a compression...

Most don't get it and never will, Will. :D Mine didn't ask, but gave me the "look" when I bought them in the first place. You know that look, don't you....

Welcome to the club, Fella's. Most women couldn't give a good crap about modding and cars in general, as long as they start and run when they want them to. It's only a lucky few (gear heads) that have women that will let that happen to their own rides. And fewer that will do it themselves!! I...

I think it looks fine. At first from the side-3/4 pics I thought the sides weren't fitting properly. But now I see it's got an up-swept design as it finishes. But as Chef said a little lowering would help the overall appearance. I don't know about a 2" drop, especially in Canada where the snow...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

Hmmm? Left huh? After thinking about it with a clearer, more awake mind (the *Ahem edit*) I would have thought the rear would be pulling left and therefore pushing the front end to go right?? Oh well.... Think of it this way... You can spend $400-$700 on a new set of tires every 15k. Or you...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

First of all Will, does the car want steer itself now? Re: -0.1/+0.1? I would think it would pull slightly left *Ahem edit* RIGHT w/that set up? Second, you may find you don't even need that extra 0.5*. I'm running -0.9*L & -1.1*R w/adjustable arms and don't even notice a difference in handling...

    Greetings

It's Phantom Blue Mica, and if its loaded, has LED tail and HID headlights (not retrofits and w/height adjustment switch,) leather interior, its a GT.

    Mud Flaps

No, I'm not either, and avoided it for some time. But they do help keep the car much cleaner, longer. The side-skirts and back side under-bumper (for lack of a better term. Back beneath the side reflectors) were getting all crapped up with tar and mud/dirt/dust, plus there's the stone chips...

    xMazdax's ride

Eibach are supposed to offer the best ride and I've heard a few complain about the Tein's after a few years. It seems sagging with them is not unheard of. Looks good xMazdax

Like the wheels and caliper treatment. Yellow fogs on a yellow car (+/-) but I think I know what you are going for? Drop it a bit (1.5-2") then

    Most Comfortable Spring Setup

Y'know your best bet, should you have the money, might be the Koni FSD set up which can be ordered with Eibach's included. If you are not aware of the FSD's, they are a self-adjusting sport dampener. The harder you drive the harder they hit. But if just cruising around town they act like a set...
