wow, took lots of shots this weekend, and found out you definitely don't want to intentionally overexpose to get that "highkeyish" effect on portraits. everything turns magenta and purple. I'll post some stuff up when I have some time to process them.

the 7d is pretty awesome. I wanted to get something with a bigger sensor. In fact, I'm selling my 50d, sold the rebel xti and tamron 17-50 and I'm gonna get me a 5d mkII also. ;)

sadly, haven't had much opportunity to use it yet. I was pretty good at nailing exposure on the 50d, but I seem to be underexposing just about every shot I take with the 1d so far... pushing everything by at least 1 stop... lots of noise :( I'll wait until I start learning how to use my...

took a couple of headshot type photos for the lobby at my wife's workplace and my beautiful bride:

it's roughly the same size as a 70-200 f/2.8 IS when not extended. same size lens cap, just shaped a little differently.

100-400. I also have a 50mm f/1.4 and some other cheap stuff, but wanted to keep that one all L ;)
