    Remove cup holders

I am going to go out on a limb on this one and just say... you don't have a lot of friends, since you describe your car occupants as people... time to lighten up and enjoy life a bit more. If you remove the cup holders... then you should fill the door panels, since hey they can hold things...

    Back to the Mazda Brand

Why would you lower at vehicle that is designed to sit high? Why wouldn't you just buy a Mazda 6?

Who else is waiting impatiently for the 2016 CX-5?

Gee, could the fact that Mini and Fiat and Jeep command the worst reliability ratings on Consumer Reports... with Mini on the bottom. Guess people don't do a lot of reading before major purchases... or still pick style over function... but at least you punted before the warranty ran out...

Is the new Navi TomTom based? I didn't think so...I love my 2014.5 TomTom Navi BTW...the traffic updates are ALWAYS accurate and never lets me down...seriously...

XM radio as an add on in 2016 CX-5 Touring with Bose

I wonder if the internet fed subscription sounds any less ass than the satellite one? My Nissan NV2500HD cargo van's SiriusXM sounds way better than my 2014 CX-5s....go figure...

    2016 CX-5 Infotainment - WIFI access?

So if this can be done to the newer connect systems, is there no options on the older system on the CX-5s?

Gracenote a big part of the problem?

Bad Infotainmemnt doesn't stop sales-CX sales up

Well, my first new Mazda was the 2000 Mazda Protg MP3, it was limited edition that came with top shelf stereo stuff...but we picked it primarily because it drove amazing...then we bought one of the first Mazda3s, and I bagged the first Mazdaspeed3 in CA too... then we switched to the CX-5...all...

Got to see the new CX5 today - SHOULD HAVE WAITED...but I will NEVER BUY MAZDA AGAIN.

Going back to YOUR ORIGINAL POST...everything here is YOUR PERSONAL OPINION...you choose to think of the infotainment system as "inferior"...but you choose to use an inferior smartphone...the iPhone. Guess what...my opinion on the phone...(as accurate as it is...)... So you choose to attack...

    Cx-5 vs Santa fe sport

So you still trust a company that admits a serious safety issue with electronic steering, and their idea to update is to quicken the computer that is still lightyears behind your brain...even a millisecond delay could lead to your death...I am not joking...I am a motorcycle racer...I don't want...

    Cx-5 vs Santa fe sport

I only buy the top of the line trim, and the upgrade from 15 to 2016 is substantial. Better infotainment, better seats, better headlights... The upgraded smart braking is worth it alone... Btw... the reason we didn't buy the Santa Fe Sport was the scary electronic steering...google it...

My Mazda CX5 bluetooth is acting up >:( - see video

Always start with the basics... replace the fob batteries, delete the Bluetooth pairing on both our phone and headunit. Re pair the phone (update phone first if there are any OS updates)... then try...

Got to see the new CX5 today - SHOULD HAVE WAITED...but I will NEVER BUY MAZDA AGAIN.

I have to admit, the new specs on the 2016 CX-5 are pretty cool, the LED headlights, the upgraded smart city braking plus the rear detection... The infotainment, if the same as the newer Mazda3s seem to STILL have problems. Even the AUS reviewer that had the new 2016s had multiple Bluetooth...

    2015 CX5 - Samsung Galaxy S5 - Pandora

The Pandora app doesn't work with my Windows Phone 8.1...I think it may only be an Apple iPhone thing...pretty sure the issue is with Pandora not updating the apps on their end...but I am not sure...

Got to see the new CX5 today - SHOULD HAVE WAITED...but I will NEVER BUY MAZDA AGAIN.

Personally, I would look into spending a few hundred dollars on a real smartphone, not a terrible iPhone...it MIGHT just fix all your problems, and save you from buying a new car... You can always sell your iPhone...I would suggest either the Motorola line of Android Phones (built in TX, USA...

Got to see the new CX5 today - SHOULD HAVE WAITED...but I will NEVER BUY MAZDA AGAIN.

Someday, the media screen will be just that...and there will be some sort of computer that you can pull out, to upgrade or whatever... The new Audis have this I believe. Every car will get the same system, and you can pay to unlock different levels of service...it makes it easy to upgrade, easy...

Got to see the new CX5 today - SHOULD HAVE WAITED...but I will NEVER BUY MAZDA AGAIN.

Please remember this SAME infortainment system is in the CX-9 and the Mazda6. So I think if Mazda can figure something out they will, but it will wind up costing a lot of money to them. Figure every people wants the BT module replaced, infotainment system reflashed or whatever...say it costs...
