    Traction control

I didn't realize they relied on the same system. That would make sense though. Thanks.

    Traction control

Anyone else in in winter climates notice kind of a grinding sound when spinning on ice? I notice it only when accelerating on total glare ice and the traction control light flashes. I get this brief grinding sound.

    Hugely disappointed.

I have no problem with the arm rest either. Comfortable for me. I tend to keep my hand on the shifter though as well.

    drain plug ??

I would just buy them from the dealer for a few bucks. If they could prove they are home made and you have a warranty issue they would likely try void the warranty. I've been machining for 13 years and yeah, it sucks since they would take 30 seconds on a lathe. But not worth the hassle if an...

Which brand and type of fuel to feed your CX-5 (Canada)

I usually go to co-op(have a membership) or Shell. But I'm not brand loyal either. Always 87.

    AWD vs FWD Q&A

Yeah, well today isn't the best day to be driving in Wpg. lol I start my commute home in 10 minutes and expect it will take at least an extra half hour to get home from downtown. Snow tires don't work miracles, but they are better.

I use my parking brake any time I park my car whether it's +35C or -35C. Never had an issue. Always have on all my past standard cars as well.

Doesn't anyone at Mazda habe the brains to figure out how to link tone/balance.

Generally bose product are over priced crap. In the cx5 it is ok. But what bose calls " home audio" is a joke in the audiophile world. I do agree with you. My home audio receivers all remember specific settings for each individual source. Not sure why this wouldn't be done here as well.

    TPMS and winter wheels

Well this seems to make sense. Ive had to reset it 3-4 times within the first week of changing them but the past week or so it has been fine. No alerts. Thanks.

    Key Fob Intermittant Issue

Did you replace the battery in the fob? Obvious question, but has to be asked. If the battery is dead though, pressing the start button with the fob should start it, according to the manual.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Received my front weathertech mats. Only have someone in the back on very rare occasions so not required there.

Special Service Program 90 - 2013 CX-5 Rear View Camera

I plan to just wait until my next oil change in January. My dealer is across the city and it's probably better to wait for all the people that want to rush in and get it done anyway. It's not like it's a safety issue or anything.

Automatic transmission not shifting gears automatically

Well then yeah, I'd definitely go to the dealer. You may find that it works after restarting though. Even if it never happens again, it's good to have on record at your dealer.

Automatic transmission not shifting gears automatically

OK, just to get it out of the way and to be sure, you didn't happen to accidentally bump it into manual mode did you? Did you try getting it to shift yourself using manual mode?

Oil consumption, dirty exhaust and an answer from a Mazda mechanic

My exhaust pipes always have to be cleaned. Not abnormal. Never experienced much oil loss though. Maybe its the difference between measuring too soon after stopping the engine and after it has been sitting?
