Yeah, you better watch out for rock chips on that beautiful paint. I would consider mud guards in front to not damage the paint too much. Instead of rocks flying inside the wheel wells, since your tires are pushed further out you'll have more chance of getting chips on the paint. I see alot of...

From what I've heard, Mazda is modifying their new platform to fit the 3, 5, 6, and CX-5. The intentions of this new platform was for it to be used for most of their lineup. So the answer, yes the new 3 will have 4 to 1 header to increase compression ratio.

I will look for the website I found this in, but I heard that Mazda was increasing the temperature in the intake to minimize carbon deposits. It seemed like it was their solution to the common DI issue.

^ I'm sure GM's system works well, but I would way prefer AWD. Also, it would give the Speed 3 a unique and interesting combo. Golf R competitor!

I agree with their decision as I know that Mazda's aren't for everyone. I can easily recommend a Civic or Corolla to anybody, but I always must explain a little more when it comes to the 3. Honda really did a good job at making a car for everyone. I would still take a 6 though.

This fall is really early. I was expecting late 2012 like the Mazda6 last year. I also heard that companies weren't allowed to sell cars 2 years in advance (2014 6 being sold in December 2012 for example).

^ Where did you here about Sky-G turbo? I heard Mazda would have too many difficulties with the high compression design to fit a turbo. Sounded like they weren't going for turbo engines. I may be wrong though. I also don't know how it would make financial sense to bring a turbo 4 developing...

A part from the grill being a little big, I expect it to have exactly those lines. Looks almost identical to spy shots but without the zebra tape. Thanks for sharing
