Maybe debris caught between the rotor and the pad. If you show your video to the service manager or sales rep, I'm sure they'll force the mechanics to look further into it. Check your rotors to see if there's any premature wear or grooves.

Yesterday, I installed my rear Koni str.t shocks, will get the front ones installed by my mechanic in 2 weeks. I also picked up my winter mags for an amazingly low price; 16inch Mazda 3 wheels. They were dirty as hell so I cleaned them today

Both the Mazda Protege and 3 share the same bolt pattern (5x114.3) so they should fit no problem. I'm not sure though if it'd be too wide. I'm sure someone else on this forum knows about this better than I do.
