The MS3 has two O2 sensors. The one before the first cat is a wide band. Don't mess with it, it can seriously confuse the ECU. The second, between the two cats is a narrow band. You can tap into it with any problem. Too bad the narrow band signal is pretty useless, but it will make your gauge...

The additives that make the wide viscosity range are the most fragile in the oil package, and hardest to do. 5w30 is already pushing it, 5w40 is very difficult if not impossible to do, and will have a very short life.

I've had my MS CAI for 30K miles, no problems. I have an air straightener sitting on the shelf, just haven't put it in. I do run an outerwears cover on the filter. No CELs, no leaks, no water-ingestion.

There are good ground spots on the front door posts just below the dash. Pop of the kick panel and they are obvious.

Actually, there is probably a little gain from what is effectively water injection, but actually doing WI would be a whole bunch simpler and cheaper.
