DIY Haltech Sprint500 Protege installation Guide

true the protege5 was made for e15, but my 2cents: Upgrade injectors, upgrade the fuel pump and put in a new filter and strainer. Because you'll need the extra flow and e85 is known to free loose sediment in the tank so a new filter is good to have. apart from that It is known that on older...

Took me a while to teach my self how to do to do it smoothly. But now I can do it with passengers with out anyone noticing. I thought all protege 5 transmissions came with a speed sensor?

turn you key on the on position with out starting the engine if there is a light that says abs then you have abs, if you dont then its not equipped. Also you can look behind the the wheel to see if there is an abs wheel speed sensor. or look under the battery tray to see if the pump is there.

Help my P5 has an CEL Codes that says Thermostat

Where did you buy the parts? If you bought the parts from an auto part odds are one of the two part you replaced is defective. its not uncommon for low quality thermostats not to open fully, and for coolant temperature sensor resistance to be off and cause incorrect readings

P5 2.0 Engine Compression Test Spec

well technically its not absolutely necessary but it is good practice to do so. Reasons you want to do the test both ways: Gauges are not all ways accurate Older engines have carbon build up on the piston, this will cause false high compression results. Engine temperature at time of test...

    Anybody know the size???

They will work with the head to manifold. Manifold to turbo. They are the right size to work turbo to down pipe with the stock or ghl down pipe. I don't think they will work with the pope down pipe. i think that needs special hardware
