    Brand New CX-5, Dead Battery!

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one! It sounds good on paper, but yet to be widely produced. Making a key design that is larger, heavier, less convenient to access the manual key, and uses more parts than the previous design, is truly mystifying though!

    Brand New CX-5, Dead Battery!

This is the company that spent millions of dollars on the MX-30. Which achieved 66 sales in 2023 before being discontinued. And sank a ton of money into continued rotary design with no production rotary. And made a huge car key to replace the slim one. And made a car with a touchscreen that you...

I can’t drive with 35 PSI (in OEM Toyo tires)!

Larger tires with a higher load index can use lower pressure.

I can’t drive with 35 PSI (in OEM Toyo tires)!

I use 27 PSI cold pressure. Tire pressure calculator is 28 psi (6 lower than the standard tire) and I go 1 psi lower. 26 psi is the lowest pressure recommended in this size.

My 2019 is Sonic Silver too. The builder image of PQ looks silver: The pictures of the 90 in this color look nothing like the builder. Totally different color.

Sure, I'm interested. Plastic trim on my 19 is fine, just a tad lighter than original. How long ago did you use the product?

    2024 CX-5 US announcement

I find it much, much more distracting having to spin a wheel and click to do anything. In my experience with both it takes your eyes and attention off the road much more, and for longer, than quickly pressing a button. To each his own. But most other automakers (including Mazda now in their...

Silver is still available (in the US), it's just called Platinum Quartz Metallic now. The color swatch on the builder is off, it looks more like a champagne color, but when you select it, it's just a different tone of silver than Sonic Silver. Still, $4,500 is a big difference. Not complaining...

Interestingly, the base price of a CX-5 is now more than $4,500 USD lower in Canada than in the US. Very strange decision not to offer silver, one of the most popular colors.

2018 to 2023 CX-5 2.5 NA Owners with high mileage. How is your car doing?

Unfortunately the '21 MY turbo models have a high rate of oil consumption; some manufacturing defect occurred during that year's model production because it doesn't seem nearly as prevalent in all the other model years. https://mazdas247.com/forum/t/nhtsa-cx-5-issues-list.123879015/

Nice, it only took 7+ years for them to figure it out that buyers want touchscreens. For years they've used a touchscreen with idiotic "lockout" functionality that prevents the touchscreen from being used while vehicle is in motion (aka, while you are actually using the vehicle), all while...
