    Parasitic Draw 2013 CX-5

Since we are guessing here.... Could be alternator having a leakage current inside... Try to disconnect it from battery and see if the current draw persists...

Difference between 2017 CX-5 and later models?

Personally (I know some people disagree with me) I would avoid these gimmicks from Mazda. iStop, iEloop, CD (cylinder deactivation), ..... Mazda came up with those to make EPA happy. All these features mandate use AGM battery and also programming by dealer to initiate software. I knew it since...

Experience Running CX-90 Turbo S With US 87 Octane?

This is the torque/hp curves for 2.5T on 87 vs 93. No benefit below 4k except for maybe faster response to gas pedal. Sorry. Could not find similar plot for the inline6 Turbo. One can assume.

    Maximizing Safety and Efficiency: Hypermiling

I agree to most of your points. However, I am not sure about the adjective, "gradual" Gradual Acceleration: Accelerate smoothly and gradually. Avoid hard starts and excessive throttle input I used to own a Prius ('05) Hypermiling was popular among owners.... The consensus was to accelerate...

    Tail/Brake Light 'Burned Out' warning

I think it was popular among European cars.. not sure about now. My '98 540iA had it. My uncle had a Citroen in the late '80s. It actually verbally warned him when a brake light burned out.

Does leaving the car unlocked drain the 12V battery?

My daughter once left her Mazda3 on roadside for the summer and came home by air. After 2 months, the battery was dead.... A Li-ion jumper I bought her saved the day.

Does leaving the car unlocked drain the 12V battery?

The keyless entry unit/sensor is constantly probing for fob response. (even when it is unlocked) (so that when you press the rubber button on the handle, it locks) Usually, a small part of circuit is always awake to interact. (in circuitry, it is call always-on.) That consumes some power. Should...

    Off Topic Docusign Scam

Many people like me nowadays... Never pick up phone calls from numbers not in contact lists. (whatever the ID says) I told my kids. If you should have a need to call from a strange number, call twice. I will pick it up the second time. Scammers rarely call you twice.

2013 Mazda CX-5 Auto Fold Side Mirrors?

Such feature (folding side mirrors) were not available to US customers until close to 2020 models. However, I recall seeing someone sells a kit to achieve what you want to do. Search online a bit for your 2013 model.

Help! Engine will not stay running oddity!

As ^ suggested... if giving it some gas makes engine keep running, but idle does not hold on by itself, you might have a ICV leak. (idle control valve) Saw my co-worker's Lexus RX failed that way (15 yrs ago) when going home from office.

    Transmission Failure After Fluid Change?

Transmission failure after ATF change is usually due to flushing the AT. Your plan sounds good to me. Just make sure they do drain-n-refill only (no flushing), and use correct fluid. Ask them to clean the pan and don't over/under fill fluid.
