HIDs comes with a ballast and works well if used with a projector housing. Problem is projector housings are bulb specific, if it was designed with a halogen, it wont work well with an HID and vice versa. I have the Kodo Bi-Xenon Headlights and they are amazing. I upgraded the stock D4S Osram...

This is the easy fix. Let the rear engage earlier. The problem is peak torque arrives early (2k rpm) thus the it may cycle too much and affect its reliability.

To add with the engine tune is an AWD that kicks in during hard acceleration to reduce that torque steer and extend the life of the front drive train.
