If you intentionally accelerate, you press the acceleration pedal, you override the brake. The car won't brake, it will let you go.

Most likely the road was curving. It happened to me too. So what I do is this, two options: option 1: disengage the radar and pass the car, reengage radar after passing; option 2: without disengaging the radar, simply press the acceleration and pass the car.

I would go with Safelite or any other windscreen replacement shop. Mazda dealer normally outsources this work and you'll end up paying more than Safelite. If you have a rain sensor on the windscreen, make sure you save the gel pad or get a new one, it may get damaged when removing the broken...

If you feel the need to replace the spark plugs, just go for it. No need to wait for the 75.000 miles mark.

Not necessarily connected to your specific issue but heads up! If you have an iPhone and if you have Face ID enabled to access certain apps, including phone calls or text messages or whatever, those apps protected by Face ID will not come on the CarPlay screen, you won't be able to use those...

Quite contrary, as I've seen it so many times on the road, the safety concern should be on those people who rely on "Auto" feature, completely oblivious to the fact that they have no tail lights on.
