    MAFS: OEM vs. aftermarket

Duralast one at AutoZone worked perfectly for me.

    Mazda5 - can’t wash front windscreen

Separate pumps, not sure if they're fused separately. I think they are though. Open your fuse panel and take a look.

Mazda5 Wheel Fitment & Photo Guide

Welcome! If you're going 225, +48 is probably the lowest offset you can safely run, maybe +45. I'd stick with +50 or higher if you can.

Ticking sound from drivers side wheel well

Look up videos about axle replacement on Mazda 3 and Mazda 5. The seals are easy to replace with the axles out.

    Floor Liners

Sorry, ordered Weather Techs for the Kia Soul that we just bought to replace the MZ5. My response was in reference to the alternative brand you bought vs the more expensive WTs. That said, my wife and I really like the fitment of the WTs, and any gaps they had to the interior bodywork from being...

Engine shudder followed by check engine light

Code reader can help you pull pending codes that aren't confirmed hard faults yet. One of the pending codes will probably tell you what went wrong. Grab a $10-15 bluetooth OBD2 reader off Amazon and use your phone to pull the code with an app like Torque.

    Rear camber arms

Ok, did the search button thing for you. AutoZone lists the Duralast 521-576 for the upper rear control arm on the 06-10 Mazda 5. No entry for that on the 11-15. The Duralast VV100002 is the adjustable upper rear control arm and the only control arm listed for the MY11-15 MZ5, but it also shows...

    Rear camber arms

I can't say 99% for certain, but they should all be the same. The 06-10 is one design, 11-15 is another. The suspension is similar enough that a lot of parts interchange between the two generations (not sure what you mean by 3rd generation, there isn't one), but I'd have to look up and see if...

    Transmission Dead wth

Easy permanent solution- replace ATF with MTF, then throw away the filter. Because you've replaced the automatic transmission with a manual one. Win.

Part out or sell the MZ5? Help me decide!

I just looked it up- installed at 66606 on 27 February 2012, so almost 80k miles. They've served me well. I've had no complaints other than the crappy plastic insulators between the springs and upper seats on the front struts that are supposed to act like Torrington bearings to eliminate spring...

Mazda5 YellowSpeed Dynamic Pro Sport (DPS) Coilover Review

Should fit 10+ no problem. Don't know about raising the car more- the YS might not have enough threading on the shock bodies to go up. These universal cartridge type coilovers typically come setup in the box for a drop no matter what, so you'd be extending them just to get back to normal OEM...

Part out or sell the MZ5? Help me decide!

Hey guys, the time has come to move on from the sliding door stickshift fun box and onto something new. If nobody expresses interest in the entire car as it sits, I'll be bringing it back to stock this weekend. Assuming we don't head to Houston to hang/help with the folks. This is the car...

    Floor Liners

Ok, thanks Hank! I had already ordered Weather Techs this morning- didn't see your post until today. I was trying to figure out if I needed to abuse my Prime to return them or not to buy cheaper ones.

Did they relax over time for better fitment? Gaps all gone?
