Safe lift points for jacking up the front end of 2016 cx-5?

If you're not going to rotate your own tires, I would just get a set of ramps to run up on to do your oil changes, much easier. If you are going to do your own tire rotations, then your floor jack and stands will be needed. I use the metal edge on the sides running between the front and rear...

    2019 XC40 vs 2019 CX-5 Signature

Is it odd that they are comparing the XC40 to the CX5? The XC40 is a subcompact, more in line with the X1, Q3, GLA class. Shouldn't they be comparing the XC60 to the CX5 because they have almost identical passenger and cargo room.

Car and Driver 2019 CX5 article.

Performance-wise the CX5 turbo is now competitive with the luxury brands on HP with more torque down low (310 lb-ft @ 2000 RPM) and zero turbo lag. All for roughly $20K less than each of these. Also looks better inside and out than all but the Fpace in my opinion, but that is subjective. Audi...

    4 more things I hate about the 2018 cx5

True, but as Paris mentioned, you can get the JDM low profile headrests if you regularly need haul something big in a huge hurry and you were not able to plan for it. I'm trying to imagine a situation where this would be critical. If you have 1-2 minutes to make your rear seats completely flat...

Does the 2019 CX-5 Signature have remote start? I’m confused

Very nice. You ever hit 130 or above on the autobahn? I know the pre-2017 were governor limited to 125, but I think the manual said the 2017+ were wind resistance restricted to 130 or 135.

    2019 CX-5 Reviews

Dave Coleman @ 4:22 "If we were focused on high RPM power, if this was a sports car, for example, we would use a smaller displacement with more space between the cylinder bores, so we could do some more cooling between the bores, because with that high RPM and high output, you have a lot of...

Super dissatisfied with the CX-5 2.5 Turbo Part 2

I realize being contrarian is your schtick, but I think you made the right choice in 2014. True Cost To Own* $35,753 *Based on a 5-year estimate with 15,000 miles driven per year. True Cost To Own* $36,605 *Based on a 5-year estimate with 15,000 miles driven per year. True Cost To Own*...

Test drove a '19 GT-R and Signature today

I can't wait for someone to add intake, downpipe, and tune to the new 2.5T and see if they can get 325 HP out of it on 93. With better wheels/tires you would have a cuv that would surprise most Q5, X3, GLC300 and Fpace owners. And all for $20K less. Of course there are still SQ5, X3M, GLC AMG...

True, I thought you were questioning why the 2019 Signature costs $15K (actually $13K) more than your 2014 Touring. I was just listing the differences between those 2 cars to somewhat justify the price difference, although it is a lot. Actually not really true. I think the only things on that...

I think you will be impressed with the test drive! By the way, a loaded signature trim is $38K MSRP and here are some of the things to look for that make it more expensive (5 years later) than your $25K CX5. I'm sure there are others I forgot. 250 HP 2.5 Turbo Notably Quieter Interior Acoustic...

No offense, but an equivalent 2019 CX5 to yours costs about $28K and I think you would be surprised at the quality you get at that price point.

    Tire dilemma - 2016 CX-5 GT

I think once the lawyers got involved, (google lawsuits when tire dealers put new tires on front) it became a cover-your-ass situation for all tire manufacturers and tire dealers. It also happened to benefit both tire manufacturers and tire dealers (in the name of safety), so it really was a...

    Hunting season!

I'll have to try those. Been using Remington accutip sabots for a while now. Yes, you definitely feel the recoil, lol, but the knockdown power is pretty impressive as you mentioned.
