    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

I agree. With my old eyes and glasses, I can't read it unless I tilt my head down and over to face it. I can't just glance at it. And just a cosmetic thing, but the clock and other lighting in the center console should match the colors of the instrument panel.

    Throttle Response

I played around with the manual mode on my way home today, and didn't notice any lag in response. There can be slight lag when in automatic mode of course, but in manual mode I didn't notice any. Maybe others can experiment too?

Driver's side mirror vibrating and shaking RAPIDLY!

Mine are OK too. Do you know when yours was built?

    Hood and Mirror Vibration

My AWD Touring was built in June 2012 as well. No vibrations in hood or mirrors at 1,300 miles. I'm wondering if they made a production change right around that time.

"Just before that, it couldnt handle a long, gradual hill at 65 m.p.h. without the automatics shifting down from sixth to fifth gear with only a driver aboard." Don't most ordinary cars usually need to downshift at least one gear when going up long hills? Maybe I'm just used to cars like...

Which TomTom Map Colors do you use?

Thanks for the ideas! I grabbed an icon for a Gray CX-5 :) I see we can also create our own themes using an editor from: http://www.colorschemeeditor.com/ Works pretty well, I was at least able to get rid of distractions like how it normally shows different colors for industrial zones, cities...

    drivers door rattle

My driver's side does the same. Stops if I hold my hand against the window.

Things we love about our CX-5's

I'm lovin' the compliments I keep getting about the car! So many people... coworkers, neighbors, total strangers... have commented on how pretty it is. Even people who have no idea it's a new car have felt compelled to ask what it is and comment on how much they like the look. I'm surprised, I...

Which TomTom Map Colors do you use?

Colors. Tap your screen to open the menu, go into Settings, scroll two pages (I think) over... look for Map Colors. It'll let you pick a "theme" for day and one for night :)

Which TomTom Map Colors do you use?

So just curious... which day and night Map Colors (themes) do you prefer for your TomTom?

    headlamp vibration

Might be the self-leveling feature trying to keep them pointed level?

Lack of power - Almost caused an accident on HWY

Me too! If I didn't know better, I'd never guess it had just 155 hp pulling around 3,400 pounds of crossover. It's ironic, the supposed "power problem" was my worst fear when buying the car, and yet it turns out playing with it's zippiness has ended up being the thing I'm enjoying the most :)...

Things we love about our CX-5's

Lovin' the bottom-hinged accelerator pedal! Now that I have one, it seems like the "right" way to do it ;) This is such a "driver's car!" I just passed 1,000 miles already, after only 2 weeks of ownership because I can't stop taking long, curvy routes home just for the fun of driving it ;)

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Use the steering-wheel volume controls when she's (TomTom) speaking to adjust it. I had the opposite problem, the TomTom was too low to hear. You can press the center touchscreen button on the nav screen I think to open a slider for the volume, but it didn't make it very loud even at 100%...

    new skyactive 2.5liter gas engine

I noticed that too when I was researching cars, but I also noticed that while the official highway MPG ratings were often pretty close, the actual mileage people were getting in real-world use wasn't.

Factory Remote Start with Tech/Bose Package

I think someone mentioned that if the engine didn't shut off, a thief could just break into your running car and drive off with it. It's a security feature, not a design flaw. Do aftermarket starters actually manipulate the HVAC controls? As far as I know, the idea is to leave the heater (or...

Tom Tom Traffic Disappeared from Nav screen

Maybe try (from the Nav Manual): You can check for updates for your maps, services and for a whole range of other free items or items for purchase. The instructions below describe how to update the TomTom application on your device. To check for an updated application version do the following...
