    Erroneous low tire pressure warning?

The low tire pressure warning light (and beep) popped on the other morning on my 2013 CX-5 Touring. I stopped and checked all four tires, and all were 32.0 or 32.5 psi. I reset the warning, and it hasn't come back in the days since then. Has that happened to anyone else? It happened about 2...

rare violent and rough engine starts....

For those of you with this problem... does it seem to run OK after the rough start once it does get going? Any drivability problems once it's warmed up?

Have you initialized the TPMS lately? If not, that might fix things...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Makes sense, and I was about to give it a try, but now I read in the manual: "The camera cover is made of plastic. Do not apply degreasing agents, organic solvents, wax, or glass coating agents to the camera cover. If any are spilled on the cover, wipe off with a soft cloth immediately." So...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

The rearview camera is difficult to view in rain, as raindrops accumulate on the lens. Someone needs to invent a shroud or something for it. Or a really, really tiny wiper lol...

http://www.motortrend.com/oftheyear/suv/1210_2013_motor_trend_suv_of_the_year_contenders/viewall.html On the Escape: "Nobody loves the (better-than-nothing) manual-shifting toggle switch..." "While the 2.0-liter AWD version scampered right up our rutted and sandy hill, the FWD 1.6 struggled...

    Ready for snow?

The way I think of it is AWD may not keep you from sliding into a ditch, but it'll help get you out if you do :) Coming from a RWD sports car (using winter tires), I'm curious to see how different an AWD CUV will do in the snow, even with all-seasons. I'm not planning on swapping tires for...

rare violent and rough engine starts....

Mine did something similar last night for the first time in 2,300 miles, although it was actually fairly warm out (50ish F). It zoomed higher up in RPMs than usual upon starting, but did settle down after a few seconds to the normal startup revs, then calmed down as usual a few seconds after...

POLL: Are you happy with the factory installed TomTom Navigation Unit?

Agree with above. I'm OK with the voice recognition, which is surprising as I'm often told I don't speak clearly. How appropriate that computers understand me better, as I work in IT lol. I'd add 1) The tiny "Next Turn" label in the upper corner is hard to read. I miss the Garmin's huge...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

It is nice on those bitter, cold and wet winter days though ;) And the irony is, it's cheaper for me to get gas in full-service NJ than in self-serve PA, at least here north of Philadelphia.

    Engine Break-in Period

That's been my impression too in everything I've read so far.

swap my 19's for your 17's

I'm pretty sure we don't have TPMS sensors. I think the ECU somehow uses the ABS sensors (etc.) to sense differences in wheel rotation speed to detect a problem. And waves to a semi-neighbor, as I commute through Trenton, NJ every day... not far from Chester! ;)

    Window Rattle?

I generally keep mine closed too, so it's not a big deal for me either. Still though, none of my other windows rattle when open, so I have to assume the driver's window can be made rattle-free as the others are.
