Nevermind :) I dug up the TomTom manual, and I see it mentions tapping the center icon when in Driving Mode. I was trying to change it via Settings when not navigating anywhere.

Pried out the center speaker grille cover and surrounded it's underside edges with felt padding. That should take care of it's occasional buzzing. Also thoroughly cleaned the interior, and finally removed the winter snow-removal gadgets. Which of course means we'll have an April snowstorm now...

I think you're probably right. Looking through the rattle TSBs, it seems Mazda changed the design process/parts for later models. We 2013 owners (mine's a June 2012 build) did the beta testing ;)

I'm in west/central Jersey (brutal winter this year!), and never had this problem with my 2013. Zero mechanical problems since I've owned it actually (17,000 miles now), aside from some cold-weather interior rattles that have popped up lately (which seems to be a somewhat common complaint).

May I ask how they attach? Sticky or screws or... ?
