Congrats!!! For what it's worth, 15,000ish miles later I still love mine. Still quiet, still handle well, grippy in rain and reasonable in snow.

Did Mazda stop making CX-5 Tourings with the Tech Package? I can't seem to find any listed in the Mazda site inventory, either in my area (north of Philadelphia) or even in some random area searches like Los Angeles. Maybe they ran out of inventory and are building no more until the 2017s are out?

Yup, my 2013 (built June 2012) doesn't show the recall when checked at the Mazda site ;)

I see the Touring gets heated seats in the 2016.5. Does that means the Touring seats are now leather instead of cloth?

Anyone else's hatch damper connection bolts rusting? This is the bolt/joint connecting the hatch damper to the hatch itself. I just noticed that my 3-year-old, 33,000 mile 2013 Touring's look rusted. All other bolts/nuts in the hatch area look fine. Just those two connection points look rusted...

After hundreds of miles now, the MPG readout has been consistently about 2 MPG *higher* than with the OEM Yokohamas. I realize the readout value itself probably isn't accurate (about 35.5 now versus 33.5 before), but I assume it's a valid relative comparison. Same commute, same conditions, same...

I agree. Almost eerily quiet. And after a few hundred miles now, I really like them: grip on dry roads feels higher, steering is still quick and responsive and the ride is more comfortable. My CX-5 still drives like a CX-5. So no "gotchas," no regrets, would buy again ;)
