How to remove accent in grille?

You might be right, I honestly can’t remember when I was replacing my grill when it got shattered by a giant rock. The top trim comes off easy enough, but you’ll probably need a right angle screw driver to go after the screws on the rear of the accent.

How to remove accent in grille?

I can confirm my 23 Turbo is actually a black piece painted red from the factory. I found a Reddit post where a user took the vinyl wrap and just shoved it into the nooks and crannies with a non marring tool. https://www.reddit.com/r/CX5/s/wJcX5HRFVf

How to remove accent in grille?

Totally not worth the effort if I remember correctly. If you can’t see the screws holding it to the grill from the backside (via the engine compartment), you have to remove the whole GD bumper from the front of the car.

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

My 21 RAV4 Hybrid is pretty bad about it. Every couple of weeks the infotainment freezes, goes dark, and reboots. I haven’t gotten around to trying a firmware update but this reminds me to look it up and get it on the to-do list.

New 2024 CX-5 not starting - lemon car?

I did the lemon law process in Florida over a decade ago and it sucked. You'll have to look up the laws for your state to see what you have to do. Generally, the manufacturer is allowed 3 fix attempts for a recurring issue during the first 2 years of ownership. Like you said, there is also a...

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

That’s a great question, I’d ask your service center first. As you suggested any out of pocket repairs right now would be at your risk. It may just be a free repair once the extended warranty is approved and in place.

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

No worries, best of luck! I figure the worst they do is say no, but reimbursing only a part is much cheaper than what most have paid at a dealership to fix 😄

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

It was pretty easy to submit the claim with the info on the postcard. I used the online portal and uploaded the pdf invoice from MazdaSwag, hit submit. $196 shipped last year for the K1Y3-61-1JZA display repair kit, it’s now running low $200s (if that’s the kit you need anyway). I’ll report back...

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

The main plaintiffs got less than like $20k to split between the 3 or 4 of them (no joke). Really not clear if those who file claims will get full reimbursement or not. Attorney's fees disclosed but not a pool of money to split from my understanding.

    Mazda Infotainment Settlement

https://www.mazdainfotainmentsettlement.com/ My mother in law got a settlement notice in the mail a few days ago. It’s for her 2018 CX-5 that she no longer owns. Wanted to share here for awareness, see details pulled from the official source linked above. I replaced her screen last year due to...

Source for quality full CX-5 front strut assembly at reasonable price?

I could also be confusing the wheel sizes for suspension tightness between my 1st and 2nd gen. My ‘13 had 17” wheels and my ‘23 has 19” wheels. My ‘23 has a stiffer ride all around vs my old ‘13 (I think that feeling folks would describe as “sporty”). My ‘23 and my mother in laws ‘18 (also 19”...

Source for quality full CX-5 front strut assembly at reasonable price?

Yeah, they were great. Over tens of thousands of miles it’s hard to tell how much your suspension feel changes. I drove at least 40k miles on the new suspension with the KYB struts and shocks and they held up well. Fixed body roll in tight turns, car didn’t dip while braking. Negative comments...

    Costco gas

I have pretty cool route options where I live (TN valley). Lots of hills, rural backroads, and my home is on a small mountain with couple hairpin turns. I was hoping to notice some sort of difference with 87 vs 93 with “spirited” mountain driving but man, I just don’t. That’s not disappointing...

    Costco gas

My personal verdict: I can’t tell a difference in day to day driving between Costco 87 and 93 octane with my 2.5T. You really have to give this car the beans and be in sport mode to try to keep it from shifting prior to 4k rpm’s. I’ll save the 50 cents a gallon and stick with 87. Changing my...

    Costco gas

My ‘23 hasn’t had a single tank of non Top Tier fuel. I ran Costcos higher octane for my ‘23s first 3k miles. I then ran Marathon 87 octane almost exclusively for the last 17k miles with the occasional tank of Chevron 87 octane. Marathon has a great free rewards program that my wife and I both...
