Sound advice. I'm not looking at putting $1000+ into wheels at the moment, so we may just be upgrading the stereo system and getting some coil-overs instead. The car has over 250k on the odometer, so I'm having a hard time dumping tons of coin into it.

I finally got around to installing the Tribute washer nozzles. It really is a great benefit, as water sprays evenly across the entire windshield. Yes, there is a small area in the lower driver side corner that stays dry, but it's hardly noticeable.

Let me know what you think about the airbox/intake mod. Been planning on doing it for a while now. :)

Solenoid received in the mail yesterday and replaced. When I disconnected the hose from the back of the old solenoid, it sounded like air being let out of a tire. Everything seems fine with the new one in place, even rev'ed up the motor to 5500 in a couple of gears to see how it felt. Seems...

Gotcha. It doesn't get pushed very hard anymore with well over 250k on the original motor (some work done but not enough). I'll take your advice and remove the red wire/hose covers, they were an impulse mod nearly 12 years ago.
