Telescope the steering wheel in and out a few times. If it gets rid of the clunk noise, it's just a grease issue.

it blows my mind, every article, reviewer,web site etc on the planet has made negative comments on the new smiley front end on the 3. Why the @#$%@ are they sticking it on everything now. Someone at Mazda needs to be slapped and fired.

for the record, I said months ago that mazda was trying to come out with a AWD Mazda6. Holdup was they wanted and needed a auto tranny that would last in the power train. I am wondering if this car has anythiing to do with a rotary at all. Besides, how do Mazda6 body panels even remotely fit...

I had a set of these on my MSP years back. I traded the car before I even broke them in. Sexy tires, great in rain. Do not attempt snow driving with them.

guys, reach down, losen up the lever for adjusting the steering wheel up/dwn and telescopic in/out. Push the steering wheel in as far as it goes, then pull it out as far as it goes. Do this several times. Put the wheel back towhere you like it and hopefully all is well again. It's just lack of...

car was in today, they think it's the high pressure hose, 280 bucks canadian for the hose alone. Of course, not in stock, need to ship it, and get car back in next week, total for repair job...near 500 mark I'm at the point now where I think I'm just done with Mazda. Smoking turbo's, clunking...

well, the xmas nonsense calmed down enough for me to take a closer look. Power steering fluid was all gone, and sure enough leaked onto ground. Must have been slow leak. Refilled, problem is gone. Will call dealer when they open again. Probably clamp on hose or hose itlself.

it's certainly power steering related. My steering today is stiff as hell. Car hasn't moved since I heard the noise, dealer isn't open until tomorrow.
