Real bass players have to! Only the pick-wielding weenies play with it down at the knees! No offense to any bass pickers, but I think a bass should only be played with fingers, sue me.

Yeah, the work and patience thing got to me after years of pulling out my hair. I couldn't wait to get a guitar with a solid, non-tremolo bridge. Especially for big (string) bends, the ease of not having to re-setup for heavier gauge strings, drop and alternate tunings (even on the fly, yay!)...

Yup, they are scalloped. Came that way from the factory! Along with the locking nut, Dimarzio PAF Pro's and Floyd Rose tremolo. I HATE the Floyd Rose, though. Nothing but trouble. Thanks! P5 has more patina now (read: rust).
