Well do you think running different spark plugs have anything to do with it? Since I only changed out the coils could having different plugs play a role?

I had to throw my old coils away because they were falling apart. Also does the coils have to have a good ground?

Well it ran for 5 months before then it had cylinder three misfire. Then put new one on. 10 minutes later cylinder three misfire. So it can't just be crap on cylinder three.

The misfire did follow the coil but something has to be burning the coil out. So it might be that my jet is stuck open and the coil can't keep up the stress from the fuel maybe. I don't know I'll find out when I get the new injector. I still have the other coils to send back she I'll take off...

Well I'm about 90% sure the sedans will fit because there's no modification's needed for them to sit on the P5, but there might be little things about the housing that may not work. Nobody has done it. They either replaced the whole housing or did the swap. It's up to you to let us know.

Yeah, I switched the fuel injectors between 3 and 4 the o ring went bad and started spraying fuel. So now I can't do anymore tests until I get that fixed. I just bought a remanufactured injector off of Amazon for $50 overnighted for tomorrow. If that doesn't fix it I'll send back my old one...

Yeah so I'm not sure. I'm hoping it's something simple, it turned the spark plug black. But I put it in cylinder 2 and it's fine for now. So I'm not sure if the injector is stuck open.

Well i switched the coils and it jumped from 3 to 4. And I did the 626 valve cover swap so I'm running protege coils. It was running fine for 5 months before this happened. I swapped plugs and wires still the same coil. I put it new coil same problem. So I'm wondering what's making the coil go bad.

Ok. I'll switch the cables between 3 and 4 and see if it helps. But since it went back into limp mode did it fry the coil again?

Yes I know. That has been discussed already. I diagnosed it to the coil. But now I put a new coil on and same issue.

New coil in, flashing cel came back. So what causes a coil to burn out?

Haha yeah, this coil pack is only 7 months old and been on the car for 4 months. So they're going to change it for me one way or another.

I switched the coils around and the light is taking forever to come back. I cleared the light twice and it came back quickly, this time sheet switching the coils it still runs horrible but no light. Ok light came back it jumped. It's the coil pack, I'm going to buy another one and have them...

Spark plug smelt like gas and was black.
