I've had the Xtec 50w kit in my Mazda3 for about 2 years now and no melting issues or anything. Because the projectors in the halogen headlights are not ment for HID, they produce a good amount of light glare. Yet, you can just keep your lights aimed properly, not to the sky, and you should be good.

So I didn't even know about this and I started this "stage 1" thing.. lol, I have the K&N, maybe that's why it sounds deeper and has a little more throttle response?
