What have you done to your CX-3 today?

Yesterday I set up a new carrier in the front passenger seat to contain my dogs. They used to ride in the backseats but I need to haul large items this weekend. All my gears/supplies/tools are organized in the trunk.

Seeking advice regarding hard clunk from transmission

If the dent was deep enough to hit the internal components, it probably would have resulted in more than a slow leak. The pan is a very thick and solid piece of metal. The other interpretation is that a slight dent along the pan edge caused a slow leak, and that slow leak over a long period of...

Seeking advice regarding hard clunk from transmission

Got it. So the shifting pattern reset and fluid topping off both helped. Did you get to see the dent on the pan when it was discovered? If not, would you be willing to check it out yourself? A good look at the pan will help you decide to freak out or chill. 😅

Understood. Did the car shift fine when you first got it?

Seeking advice regarding hard clunk from transmission

Do you happen to have a picture showing the dent on the pan? The filter is attached to the transmission. There is a few inches of clearance between the transmission and the pan. I am not sure how a dent could hurt the transmission itself. For your quick reference, here's a pic of the...

Photo of the deactivated GPS trackers…

Sorry that they did this! 😬 I'd be so pissed too. A long time ago I accepted a set of wheel lock on a new car but that was the max I can take.

    2016~2023 CX-9 Transmission Fluid Temperature

Try again with the ignition on! I was messing around with the dashboard items and lost my coolant temp (B) somehow. Had to turn the car on (engine still off) so the app can talk to the ECU. 😅 For my car, coolant temp A is temp on the engine side, coolant temp B is on the radiator side. I need...

These profiles are part of the app-settings. If there are sensors not supported by the device, it'd tell you so or display no values when connected. 😬 Two of my obdii devices work with this app, one purchased in 2021 and the other 2025. The app works on my Android 13, 12, 11 and 8. (Tried to...

What have you done to your CX-3 today?

Yesterday I set up a wifi cam in the hatch to record activities in the rear. It is clamped to the deck/cover and connected to a power station that is hooked up to a 40w solar panel on the roof. My primary phone offers wifi/hotspot. Besides using additives liberally, I have more than a dozen...
