CX-5 Transmission: Drain and fill vs flush vs oil pan drop drain/fill?

I put CC2's on my CX-9, and they are fantastic. So fantastic, I put a set of CC2's on my Silverado yesterday as well!

CX-5 Transmission: Drain and fill vs flush vs oil pan drop drain/fill?

If you're into the car for the long haul, spend the few extra bucks, get Michelins. As soon as you hit the road, you'll know why.

    82,000 Miles, first brake job

Brake replacement has nothing to do with mileage, and everything to do with use. If you have a Miata that you hammer on at Road Atlanta or Sears Point every Saturday, you're going to go through a set every 250 laps, or 625 miles. If you have a Mazda5 that you use for inner city Uber driving...

    Green coolant?

55/45 and 50/50 really ain't that big of a difference. But if you want to mix yours a little strong, meh. You still come out cheaper than buying pre-mix.

7th Generation Mazda navigation system questions

Funfact about the built-in maps. Compared to Waze or Google maps, it's kinda garbage. Don't worry about ever updating the Mazda maps again, just stick to Android Auto or CarPlay (depending on which phone you have), and use that for navigation.

    Upgrade to wireless Android Auto?

Well obviously any of them, even if it was factory, is going to disconnect when there's no cell signal. AA *requires* Internet to be available.

What's with the lack of features in Mazda App?

For any car that never had Mazda Connected Services like your first Gen CX-5, the only thing the app does, the only thing it physically *can* do, is warn you about any recalls. And you'll get a letter in the mail for something like that anyway. The technology simply didn't exist in your car to...

    DIY Mazda Firmware Update Information

Thanks to @Candurin I got it installed today! Hopefully no more random blank screens! 2021 CX-9 Touring non-Bose Went from 11022 to 11048 Car in ACC (not ON), in park, with the ebrake on. I used an 8GB flash drive formatted to FAT32, with the update file being the only thing on the drive, and...

    Feedback on Garmin Dashcams?

I run Viofo because they're inexpensive and use Sony Starvis 2 sensors, and the sensor is the only thing that matters. Paying a subscription service for a dash cam is wild. Why would anyone actually do that? Just get some big like 256 or even 512 memory cards, and you're good to go.

    Second rearview Camera mounting point?

We have front and rear dash cams. On the rear, we just put it in the upper center of the rear window.

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

Let me preface this by saying I don't like rear speakers. I do Car Audio sound quality competitions in my car and I've found that rear speakers only detract from having a good image and staging. All they do is pull the image to the back. Think about it this way: when you go to a concert or pub...

    LED Headlights in a Mazda5?

No, it's the truck. Unless I'm reading this wrong, he doesn't have issues with any other vehicles.
