    And I didnt realize the magnitude of power reduction till unob posted this. Definitely thought it was more like heat soak before which is an order of magnitude difference imo.

    Right, the traction control and stability cant be fully defeated. I still think it could be the culprit.

    That seems like a large difference. I think its safe to rule out heat soak but even if it was it shouldnt reduce the power that much IMO.

    Yea I mean I think the CX-5 would look better without it but its tasteful. I do like the bottom of the door cladding that wraps under so your jeans dont get dirty stepping out.

    I know they have a plant in Saarlouis Germany. Thats where they produced the Focus RS. Not sure about Japan.

    I think they list the 0-60 range as two engines are available. Fastest is the turbo slowest is NA with AWD.

    Yea they definitely weigh the subjective driver feel and refinement more than cu ft and # of cup holders.

    Cold is good boost weather but not good traction weather.

    I believe the traction control pulls power when it detects slip. So it would prevent that I think.

    Octane compensation had occurred to me also but if hes bellow 4k I dunno. Or just a tuning quirk.

    At that temperature this seems likely. AS tires are pretty hard at that point.
