Winter is here and my CX-5 Turbo is now a 2.0L!

The JB4 is great above 20 degrees. 1st gear feels about the same, but everything after that is quite noticeable. The CX-5 unit is still in its beta testing stage, so there’s slight inconsistencies in power delivery. They’re working on MAF control which will hopefully iron that out and the sub 20...

Winter is here and my CX-5 Turbo is now a 2.0L!

Temps dropped to 19 degrees last night and the acceleration issue in 1st and 2nd gear reappeared, even with my JB4 installed. I’ll be doing some X3 M40i shopping this weekend. I don’t think I can tolerate another winter of this.

    CX-60 Video shoot

I suspect the CX-70 version will share a wider stance with the CX-50. It was previously stated that the 60 and 80 would have a narrower stance to better fit the roads overseas. Fingers crossed.

Poll Seriously considering the Mazda CX-50?

The rims on the camouflaged CX-50 look like “20’s. Hopefully they offer a trim level to match.

Poll Seriously considering the Mazda CX-50?

If the CX-50 was available at the same time I bought my CX-5 last year, I would’ve gone with the CX-50.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

That’s certainly a niche Subaru has enjoyed uncontested for decades. I see tons of them on the road. Wouldn’t mind seeing stylish Mazdas instead.

Look at the door handle relative to the edge of the door. The camo handle is further from the edge of the door. Also, the body crease has more of a swoop on the cropped photo.

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

Either Mazda is revealing 2 new models next week, or the black and white camouflaged is the CX-70 due for reveal next year. Notice the difference in spacing and angle of the lines between the door handle and brake light. Definitely 2 different vehicles.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

Looks like we’ll know more next Monday. Right now I see a well defined rear quarter panel with a lot of black plastic around the wheel well.

    Off Topic Rav4 Prime XSE

There’s a ton of factors to consider when determining which car is the better value. Personal preference/satisfaction is a major part and can’t be overlooked. For me, driving 13,000 mi/yr the $34.8k 0% Signature in the exact color combo I wanted, plus a $600 JB4 tuner to bump the power was my...

Does the newer infotainment get rid of the upcoming cross street display?

Have you tried defaulting the system to the “factory setting”. My ‘20 Signature has had it since day one. I can’t find anything in the menus, but maybe someone at your dealership unintentionally disabled it?

CX-60 and CX-80 for Europe (CX-70 and CX-90 for the US)

Correct, the MSRP’s are inflated to absorb the $7,500. I’m sure there were dealer markups as well, but the XSE I reserved after they announced it ended up close to $50k. I spent a number of months on the RAV4 Prime forum leading up to the release, and there was a lot of speculation on price. The...
