This might be your problem..... In a previous life, I had a Suspension Techniques coil cause a clunking noise on rebound; two windings were cast to close together and were touching and clunked when the separated. They replaced it under warranty as it was defective.

It prevents the transmission from moving out of park without the brake pedal applied. Sounds like it may also not let the vehicle start without the brake pedal applied.

Check for trouble codes. Could be a multitude of things, but no point in guessing.

Had a minor audible exhaust leak over the past few months, then in the past few weeks started smelling exhaust fumes in the car. Took it to local shop where they welded in a new piece of flex pipe and welded up a small crack. Good for another 290,000km. 🙂

My 2009 has 289,000km on her and she is going strong. The major problems are far and few between, but you only hear from the haters.

Been on Toyo Celsius for 4 years now (used to use snow tires). Ran it in 10-12" of wet snow, and icy conditions. They performed very well.

That code points to the fuel level sensor. Did you reset the code after installing the new one? Maybe the new one is faulty.
