    Temp gauge reading hot

In my case it ended up being the engine fuse. I didn't catch it at first, because all of the fuses I have in my kick-pannel fuse block are supposed to light up when they blow. This one didn't light up. I went back and checked it today on a hunch, and sure enough, when I pulled it out, I could...

    2002 protege WILL NOT START

I have this issue myself now. It started this past weekend. Checked fuses and relays. The main relay was bad, so I replaced it. No difference. Temp gauge still pegs hot. I replaced the water temp sensor. No change. What did you find?

    Bad Wheel Bearing?

Most likely it is a bearing. Keep in mind the rear wheel bearings are a part of an assembly of which the whole thing has to be replaced.

    LinuxRacr's 2013 - 2014 New Build Thread

Eventually... Right now I'm dealing with a stud that backed out of the Steedspeed manifold, so I had to take everything apart to replace all the studs, since a couple of them had warped threads. I've learned my lesson on turbo fasteners. Always best to replace them when taking things apart...

    More Turbo Setup Questions

Not to discount whatmy old friend Ryan said here, but I want to chime in to say that after years of rolling around with several turbo kits on my MP3, I have learned that you do NOT want the wastegate to see vacuum. If you are using the internal wastegate of the turbo, you want it connected to a...

I've always boosted in 5th gear with no issues, but with the new-found power, I can see your concern.

The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

Hell yes. I'd definitely be interested in some better axles. BTW, the weather was nice on the Island last week. :) Felt great in Langley and Victoria.

I've got to say that a new PCV valve rubber seal for the valve cover really helps with vacuum!

Short 5th gear pull last night, partial throttle. About time to really dial it in and turn it up!

    LinuxRacr's 2013 - 2014 New Build Thread

Wow, I totally missed this post. 1) I am using two different brand fans. I've had each for a while, and they are hold-overs from my previous setup where I could only use one puller fan due to turbo proximity. The one currently on the passenger side for my A/C is a Maradyne Champion Series...

    LinuxRacr's 2013 - 2014 New Build Thread

Today I got under the car for a checkup. I checked the turbo manifold bolts, checked for leaks, and checked the oil. No oil burned! I ended up repositioning some of the hose clamps for the Turbo Life intercooler for easier access, and noticed a little oil residue in one of the intake pipes on...

What have you done to your MSP today?

Lots of police on the island huh? Good to know, as I'll be there again next month. This would be one heck of a deal to jump on for someone.
