Yes the front bumper needs to come off. There is a video on yt where the person does it in 30 minutes. See if the video is still there.

How about CX-9: Gen 1- 2007 to 2015 Gen 2- 2016-2023 I know it's going to be a lot of work sorry for that, but I would think that it would be much easier to navigate between generations.

I was wondering if kbb repair estimator is more accurate than repair pal? because they have the water pump replacement estimated at 900 dollars while repair pal has it at 2900 dollars.
