WTB: 00 1.6L Stock air box setup

I honestly didn't remember that you had two. I only carried one type for a while. The only other one I ever had was just a sample and I sold it years ago. It looked almost stock...the difference was obvious, you'd know if you had it. As for the SRI, something else must be going on too, to cause...

Steve, I have the SRIs in stock, you should buy one. No CELs and no hesitation. Are you running the muffler with or without the silencer?

DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

I've been selling HID kits for several years and I'm familiar with most major brands. I can tell you that no matter what brand name is on the kit the parts are nearly always made in China. There are only a handful of HID bulb manufacturers and I don't know of any that aren't made in China. I'm...

    christmas bonus. what to get?

You should always start with a plan of what your goal is for this car and then work toward it. In my case, I knew the N/A limitations of this motor and decided I just wanted to turn it into a more fun-to-drive Daily Driver. So I did the basic I/H/E bolt-ons + MP3 ECU and then worked on...

DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

Interesting...I've read other similar problems, such as HIDs only firing BEFORE the car is started. One thing you don't want to do is repeatedly turn the lights on and off in quick succession. That is a sure-fire way to kill a ballast, especially if it's already dying.

The Official Who's Working on Christmas Thread

I'm not working but I have in the past. Some people need to work. Others like kymerik have a good reason to go in and get something done, especially if there's nothing else going on. Personally, in my business (Int'l Logistics) every Holiday, no matter where it is in the world, is just a PITA to...

    budget headers?

Welcome to the forum. A little OT but you have an 03 with 4 bolt wheels? I didn't think any '03s had them but if anything then it's a probably a DX...the base model. Unless you aren't in the U.S. Where are you located?

Yokohama AVS ES100, Anyone with experience?

Really? I think they did a really nice job in the rain. Until just past 1/2 tread, then they lost a lot of their channeling ability. The Parada Spec-2 that I am running now are even better in the rain, except if hit a relatively deep puddle at speed, then the diagonal tread seems to yank the...

Yokohama AVS ES100, Anyone with experience?

I've had them & loved them. I am still running Yoks but switched to Parada Spec-2 just to compare for myself. The AVS ES 100's are more than worth the price IMO.

DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

H3C bulbs are generally terrible. When I was selling the Techone kits, they had a tendency to blow out easily. I thought it was just the kits I was selling but when I did a little research it seemed everyone was having problems. The H3's fit, even in the small sedan housings, but it takes...

fs rear rotors and h7 hid bulbs 6000k

They are Techone bulbs but there's no reason they won't work with the Apexcone ballasts as long as they were manufactured in the last two years. Some older ballasts had different connectors but they are all pretty much the same now.

Mazda2 Now coming to the States!

I already have access to all kinds of mods the minute this thing hits our shores. I am really looking forward to it. I love my Protege, but I also drive 45 mi. each way to work, almost entirely highway and I can't think of a better dd for me.

    Mazda 323F from Croatia

Oh, OK, I saw the build date and thought it was a 2000 model. We didn't get the 5-door 323/Protege until 2002. And definitely no diesel!
