Interesting...I've read other similar problems, such as HIDs only firing BEFORE the car is started. One thing you don't want to do is repeatedly turn the lights on and off in quick succession. That is a sure-fire way to kill a ballast, especially if it's already dying.

I've had them & loved them. I am still running Yoks but switched to Parada Spec-2 just to compare for myself. The AVS ES 100's are more than worth the price IMO.

They are Techone bulbs but there's no reason they won't work with the Apexcone ballasts as long as they were manufactured in the last two years. Some older ballasts had different connectors but they are all pretty much the same now.

I already have access to all kinds of mods the minute this thing hits our shores. I am really looking forward to it. I love my Protege, but I also drive 45 mi. each way to work, almost entirely highway and I can't think of a better dd for me.
