I had the same problem due to my wife losing the keys. Find a good auto locksmith. They will be able to program new keys. Last set I bought think around $200 for 1 switch blade remote type and 2 keys cut and programmed.
Changed the battery, had a bad cell. Yay maintenance. I am starting to like the look of the car with the black steelies, might have to make a change when the regular tires go back on.
Just installed all OEM mounts - hopefully they last longer than the originals - or someone makes a better replacement. Never had an issue on any of the other makes I owned.
Read something a while back that said the tranny fluid should be changed every 30k miles. So far changed it twice - both time looked like motor oil - next up is a trans fluid cooler. A few people have put them on - the temps don't tell the story.
Did an early 60k mile checkup, oil change, filters, trans fluid, and all 3 motor mounts. Changed the trans fluid at 30k looked like motor oil - these cars really need trans coolers - looks like I have a new project.
As a New Years present a friend backed into the driver side front of the car. Looks like the bumper cover needs to be replaced, the front of the quarter panel is bent in but no paint damage. Let's see what the body shop says tomorrow.
Find a good auto locksmith, they will have a computer to program the car/keys. Bought 1 switchblade and 2 transmitter keys for $225 cutting & programming included.
Had a Smartnav 5r rear view mirror installed. Rear camera, igo gps, radar detector. Also has all the Bluetooth features. Also came with a 5 year warranty.
Jus installed the HH hitch last week, used the hitch tray and rola bag instead of my roof box. Couldn't even tell I had anything on the car. Averaged 29 mpg in highway/traffic, now to find the right bike rack (has to hold girls/kids bikes).
