    2013~2016 Skyactiv Spark Plug Question

That's up to you. I went the NKG route and can tell absolutely no difference from the originals. That was 20K miles ago.

2013 CX-5 Traction, Tire Pressure, Check Engine Light, Trouble Running

That's what cleared up my issues on my '14, but that was quite a while ago. MAFs were an issue on some Gen1's.

Afraid to ask. Total cost at the dealer?

Lightweight AGM or Lithium battery in Cold Weather daily driver?

I live in a cold climate - Minnesota. When my original battery needed replacement, I went with AGM. It didn't really last very long and it was expensive. So now I'm back to a "regular" battery from Walmart. The Everstart Max is 640cca, 38.2 pounds, $108.76 + tax, 3 year replacement warranty. It...

Here's a good Mazda parts department for factory wheels

I believe that the OP has a turbo model. As we've seen in other posts, the supplied spare doesn't fit over the larger front brakes and thus must be installed only on the rear. So if the flat is on the front, then a double change is needed. A matching OEM rim makes sense in that regard.

    Pep Boys refuses used oil

My county has 2 hazardous waste collection sites that are open 6 days a week. Most items are accepted for free including used oil. They do charge for some items ($3/tire, $10 for TVs/computer monitors, $15 for a large appliance). If they think an item is reusable (like a half full container of...

    An interesting MAF sensor situation

She cleaned the sensor and it runs much better now. Plugs were recently changed so not the issue. Proud that she could do it as she is not attuned to vehicles really. She's an MD, a Pediatric Urologist - this was her first successful "surgery" on her Mazda. :D

    An interesting MAF sensor situation

My daughter lives in Salt Lake City where the air quality has been awful due to smoke from fires and the geography of SLC. She drives a 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L with about 86K miles. She called me a couple of days ago and said the car was running pretty rough and almost stalling at stop lights. As a...

    A Little More Power? 2015 CX-5

Or, disconnect the battery for a while. Then, when you reconnect it the trans will have to "learn" your driving style, just as it had to when your CX-5 was new. Be sure to change the air filter, clean the MAF sensor, change the oil and change the plugs (if you haven't yet) before the battery...

Key fob battery life - battery never dies!

Sometimes mine will say it's low, but it actually depends where the fob is. If it's winter and covered by a few clothing layers, or if it's in my gym bag with a bunch of stuff, it'll say that it's low. But it really isn't low, just has a harder time getting the signal to reach. IMO, it's time to...

    2016 CX-5 Electrics going dead

I, for one, am not following your math. 3 years (the free replacement limit) on a 2016.5 would be over in 2019. At best I think he's in the 49-60 month range which means paying 80%. At that point, I'd go elsewhere (like Costco) and expect to pay less than what the dealer would be charging.

Is it ok to have mismatched tires?

One other point not mentioned, those A36's on your CX-5 are at LEAST 5 years old if not older. You can check the sidewall for the date code to know for sure. In my book, that's old enough (combined with your shallow tread depth) to get four new tires.
