I was getting a rattle from the plastic panel under the steering wheel on rough road surfaces at low speeds. I used 3 layers of duct tape inside the plastic panel to dampen the vibrations. Rattle gone!
After the ECU flash recall my low speed hesitation seems to be gone. I am getting 1 MPG more too. I wonder if the reflash is more than just for the rocker issue.
Looking further at the instruction it appears the hose bracket is only removed, I initially thought a hose had to be disconnected. I may give it a go after the engine temp light hits 122 degrees.
Showed the reprint to service writer. He said he was unaware of dipstick. Still wanted to charge 1 hour labor. Talked to service manager and negotiated .5 hr labor at $75. I do not think is worth the expense after all.
