    I dunno if it's my shifter that's scraping the heat shield, but i definitely get the same sound. Sounds quite scary as it is a grinding noise that occurs before you get into gear. Is it really the shield or is it the tranny needing some more fluid? I just topped it off!

    That would look very crappy.... VHT is a brand that makes a smoke spray paint "tint". It is very difficult to remove though.

Anyways I want some circular ones to cover/tint the reverse and turn signals on my tail lights a smoked color. Any insight would be appreciated...

    I'm looking for it online but don't know what it's called! I think it's great because it protects the bumper from getting scratched. Where can I get it and what is it called? It's like a scuff-pad protector made of black plastic. Help appreciated! Thanks.
