I was able to get a couple of pics of the spare trans before it was buttoned up. There was extensive machining done as well as thread repair/strengthening for the plate screws. The machine shop reported that the supplied drawings from HYDRA were somewhat vague however through consultation with...

Thanks! I'm very excited about the upcoming event at Knox Mountain in Kelowna. I've been talking lately with a number of former participants of this event and they have very mixed messages about it. Some say it's a blast, some say it is scary as hell! "You've got a wall on one side and a big...

As far as the brake upgrade goes, I'm still waiting on Revolution Brake to get back to me but given the current exchange rate I'm in no rush! lol! In the meantime the brakes I currently have will be sufficient for the hillclimb. It's uphill! Who needs brakes? ;)

The car (and spare trans) are going in this Friday to have the HYDRA trans plate(s) installed. The MFactory prototype race axles are also going to be installed. Then it's off to get the battery relocated and the ABS sorted. All in preparation for http://www.knoxmtnhillclimb.ca/ . This will be an...
