Actually, AC is now standard on the top model. Initially, the website was wrong, but they've changed that. I agree with you, just going south of the border, you literally get a different car all together. Air bags, Xenon lights, clear tailights. THis is very disappointing for Canada.

Wongpres, CAn you confirm this? THis is very disappointing to hear. I was assuming the GT model for the sedan would have the cleared out tailights to go along with the GFX package. Very disappointing. I can accept no-HIDS, no side airbags, etc. What's next? Very Disappointing. :mad:

I'm going to wait to buy the Mazda 3. It will be a first year car anyways. That really really really sucks. The car is equally proced to a Civic Si sedan or the Acura El. The M3 has more options than these 2 cars put together already. I'll wait to see what the response from Mazda will be for...

What about removing the high beam assembly and putting in the HIDs? That would be legal, wouldn't it?

Hye Wongpres, I would appreciate any info that you can give me locally. i'm in the market for a new car this year and I am interested in teh Mazda 3 do to the price and what you can get for the price. Isn't the Mazda 3 headlight configuration a separate bulb for HID and another one for DRL...

It would be false advertising if HID was not a feature. All the pictures on the Mazda.ca site as well as mazdausa.com have obious HID lights in the headlight configurations. PLease do not false advertise Mazda!!! Let's hope for HID lights

While surfing on the mazda.ca site, I notived that there is absolutely no mention of HID lights whatsoever. Are there going to be any HID Lights coming to North America?
