that is eff'd up, sorry to hear, pisses me off when hard working people earn a little enjoyment and bums like this just want to take things.... agree with 7eregine , what kind of idiots think they can open a door by popping plastic panels ?? you sure it's not someone out to get you or...
Ok I appreciate your position,
but still if a car is in the blind spot regardless and it doesn't light up, to me that didn't makes sense, what's the point of BSM then if a car is in your blind spot and there's no alert, might as well just use your mirrors and don;t pay for BSM.
In a...
yep, the 2016.5 CX-5 and all previous years the BSM works well, sometimes though it would light up if it senses an obstruction like a parked car or guard rail.....
Mazda over-corrected this in the 2016+ CX-9 , see video below ,
not sure if this over-correction got carried over to the 2017...
awesome write up again tomcat, this is a lot easier than taking out the whole air intake system every single time to get to the dipstick....(especially if you need to check 2 or 3 times when car is running or when it reaches 122F temp)
I recall a fellow member removed the air intake system...
$25 ? I was at the dealer yesterday and an old lady came in complaining about foul mildew smell coming from her air vents, the dealer stood there with a straight face and said they can easily fix it by servicing her cabin air filter for a low price of $75, and they would vacuum all the...
not sure but just throwing this out there, I had a similar situation, my wife forgot that she left a Poland Spring water bottle under the passenger well right under the seat pan, and every time I took a hard turn, the water bottle would hit the seat track and make a noise that seemed like...
stick with CX-9,
tons of Murano transmission issues, Nissan's CVT is not reliable.
https://www.carcomplaints.com/Nissan/Murano/2015/transmission/jerking.shtml
My co-workers Pathfinder shudders all the time, search youtube Nissan shudder
Infiniti have similar transmission problems...
not sure if it's the same issue, but I've noticed on my 2016.5 the gap between bolster and rubbing against center console sidewall depends on how far up I move my seat, when I have no front passengers, I move the front passenger seat very forward so the kids can get in easier in the 2nd row...
confirmed the Mazda3 headrests fits the 2016 and previous CX-5's, look how much more rear visibility is improved

this is how they look in the 2016 and previous CX-5's...
not sure how Tomcat did it, I don't think he showed it, but I'm guessing you have to add a fusetap and connect the LED's to the tap, see link below, it shows how to hardwire to a Valentine radar detector / DashCam but the idea is the same...
Agreed !! wow that's a lot of work and added weight , not worth the hassle and money......
also new squeaks and rattles will occur now since panel fastners are not as tight and secure as before.
might as well get the 2017 than to do this....
found a good how to for those interested in changing spark plugs .....
http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Mazda-CX-5-Skyactiv-G-Engine-Spark-Plugs-Replacement-Guide/index.html
it's hidden in the center armrest lift up the armrest and look inside should be towards the front inside the armrest cubby,
careful, it's not switched, meaning anything connected will still draw power from the battery even if the car is off.....
so leaving anything connected may result in...
SayNoToPistons, is it possible to post some night pics and video ? I'm interested and seeing the light output for the XB (type Z) LED fogs,
thanks in advance, much appreciated.
good info, thx so does makes sense if you're not planning to buy it at the end of lease, also is there a mileage limit at the end of your lease, and also they check for any scratches or dents at the end if you don't plan to keep right ....
your lease seems more different than what Mazda...
thank you, this is very good info.... so it doesn't look interchangeable, the new CX-5 has a longer run before the wiper mounting bolt ..... no way an old CX-5 wiper can reach that deep and not interfere with the cowl vents ....
this was mentioned as one of the noise reduction improvements...
whoa, that's a surprise, glad you found out beforehand, yeah leave it alone and go with your original plastic dip solution,
those peg holes look horrible.....
