This is not really assuring that it's "plug & play" since the controls won't work and now the airbag cannot be removed due to the different cover. Hopefully it's not a programming issue.

Can the airbag inflate WITHOUT battery power? I wonder why the bolt has to be replaced? Was there any loctite on the bolt?
