just looked at moms car, the passenger side motor mount is gone bad (i think) I could see liquid that was dripping from the motor mount and is now covered in grease and grime. Anyone know which motor mount i should buy to replace this?

I saw many people complain about this when I did a google search. Mostly about the vibration happening above 55mph. A way to test this would be wait for the vibration to start at idle, and then put the car in neutral, correct?

My mom has a 06 Mazda3 hatch with 50,000 (i think). The car is bone stock, but has recently started shaking violently while idling. It goes away right when you step on the gas. Do you guys have any ideas on where I should start?

Got that EGR outta the car, cleaned her up and put her back in. To my suprise, there was no rust on the valve spring like many have so I guess it was in good shape. Cleaned out the carbon with come carb cleaner and a brush. After all this the car is running much better at a higher rpm. But the...

the spring and valve seem to be in good shape. No rust on either component, so all I need to do is clean out all that carbon build up.

Just got the EGR valve off and boy is it gunked up for 100,000 without ever being cleaned. Ill post how it worked out after im done.

hours later, I finally got the thing removed using a craftsman micro ratchet. Now off to soak in some carb cleaner

attempting to get this S.O.B. off right now but im failing badly. I cant see how you guys got a wrench or rachet to fit in there and be able to break the 2 12mm bolts loose any tips please?

Im getting rpm jumps from 1200 to around 500 with violent shaking. Im going to take it off tomorrow and go to town with a big can on carb spray. Im kind of afraid, my car is just creeping up on 100,000 and I guarantee this thing has never been looked at. So is everyone using motor oil to re lube?
