Text messages not appearing on Mazda Connect infotainment

Yes I made sure the settings are what they should be (per your recommendations as well). I have not tried it yet with the CX9 but will check at some point this week. Hopefully itll work fine...

Text messages not appearing on Mazda Connect infotainment

For some reason I plugged in the IPXR to my other vehicle (CX3) equipped with AC then after disconnecting it and just connecting via Bluetooth I can now receive text messages on the phone and would appear on the Mazda connect infotainment unit. Weird but it worked so maybe that did the trick...

Text messages not appearing on Mazda Connect infotainment

I had an Iphone 7 previously and every time I got text messages on phone it would appear (notification and able to read out or display) on the Mazda connect infotainment system...I recently paired a new IPhone XR and now the text messages do not appear. Tried playing around with settings both...

    2016~2023 Auto-leveling headlights on 2018?

Per owner*s manual: * The number of passengers and weight of cargo in the luggage compartment change the angle of the headlights. The angle of the headlights will be automatically adjusted when turning on the headlights.*

    Oil confusion-16-19 2.5t

Not sure if the Skyactiv 2.5T has it but the Skyactiv 2.0 NA engine already has it built in to the engine...saw this from a thread in a CX3 forum I assume they*ve done the same to the 2.5T engine... https://i.postimg.cc/7ZYKntK0/90-A4-E909-FCB5-47-EE-A0-B9-42-FCAAAABAE5.png...

2016~2023 Looking for opinions on front wheel vs all wheel drive for 2016 CX9

That was likely the reason the FWD was sitting on the dealer lot for awhile and no wonder they offered a good price on it (they wanted to move that stock)...if you look at it in a diff way, the money you saved on FWD vs AWD you can buy a good set of winter tires and still be ahead. My point...

2016~2023 Looking for opinions on front wheel vs all wheel drive for 2016 CX9

Huge diff on FWD vs AWD...I*d say should only be $2-3K CAD the most and not $5K. If you can negotiate it to close the gap then do it...also think of resale value later on as most Canadians would prefer AWD so if you sell it then it has more appeal than the FWD and while you may not need it...

2016~2023 Snow and ice performance of AWD CX-9

Agree...Falken OEMs were a joke on snow/ice as within 8mos of ownership I changed over to Nokian WRG3 all weather tires! While not dedicated winter tires at least they performed better than the all seasons and would blow past vehicles from stop lights (with all seasons) due to the AWD and...

    CX-9 vs Volvo XC90

In my experience owning a Volvo for 7yrs (XC60) the dealership experience wasn*t great...good in the beginning then went downhill afterwards to the point that we dreaded going to dealership for servicing even if every 6 months and went from getting luxury brand equivalent loaners to going to...

    2007~2015 Goodbye to my CX-9

Congrats on your CX-3! Yes it*s a blast to drive due to its nimbleness and ease to zip and toss around in the city...and good gas mileage! I know coz I have both (CX9 & CX3).

    2019 1YR Review

Almost 3 yrs ago I almost pulled trigger on a *17 Rx350...glad I waited coz few months after I discovered the *17 CX9! When I did the comparison (bought the Signature) it would have cost me $12-14K CAD more to get same/comparable features on the Lexus. In the end value and features won over vs...

Disappointed with TPMS system.....do I understand it correctly?

To address this issue I installed those after market TPMS sensors for $40 that you simply screw on to the tire air valves and have a small solar equipped panel readout that sits on the dash. The thing has ind tire psi readouts and temps so you can pin point the specific tire that needs air and...

CX-9 GT Remote starter - worth it ?

Block heaters are mandatory in our province unlike others in Cda...btw I only plug/use it when it is minus 18deg and colder overnight and use a timer so it does not use electricity overnight. I heard the other limitation of the Fortin is the range that is why I went with a long range 2-Way...

CX-9 GT Remote starter - worth it ?

I have a 2-way remote starter (Compustar) and find it useful in winter...though the cabin doesn*t get warm enough to my liking it does warm up engine faster making the cabin warm up faster once you drive the vehicle. What I also find advantageous having the starter is being able to...

    broken seatbelt

Try pulling the belt all the way out until it completely stops (you can*t pull any longer) then it should retract by itself...if it*s the same system as my prev Volvo that should work

    i-ACTIVE AWD not so Active

It also comes down to simple cost - a $2K charge for AWD is less than 5% of the vehicle price vs say others like Audi Quattro where the system cost more and represent more than 5% of the price. Mazda could have gotten a better AWD system but then that would drive the cost and retail price...

    i-ACTIVE AWD not so Active

Too much stock and too high of an expectation on the CX9*s AWD is being put on while it*s never known to have a great performing AWD system. As someone here said that if AWD capability and perf is the main priority then go for vehicles like Acura with SH-AWD, Audi Quattro, Subaru as examples...

    i-ACTIVE AWD not so Active

Quote :*As others have alluded to, the Bridgestone Ecopias are terrible and I've mentioned it plenty in some of my other posts here. These tires are easily holding back the AWD system as well because they're so prone to slipping. They were so awful to the point where I didn't feel safe sometimes...

Is Mazda's upcoming CX-30 on your shopping list?

Recently got a 2019 CX3 and happy with it so far as a daily commuting car aside from our CX-9...while it is a 3yr old model it still looks ok and a fun zippy and nimble car to drive. While I really like the interior design of the upcoming CX-30 (same int as the new 2019 3 which btw I have...
