    Confused between Cx9 and GX460

The 2017 CX-9 has a belt driven water pump. Cheap part and easy to replace. The V6 in the older model CX-9 had the pump inside the engine, chain driven. Hard and very expensive to replace. Poor design, thanks to Ford.

    Confused between Cx9 and GX460

Interesting... i did some research on this. What would the cost $$ of this update be? - $650 on Ali Express + labor and some connectors Who offers it? - DLC / DELINCHUA Who provides support when there is a bug or i need an update or it dies? - Nobody. You can email a technician in China and...

    Confused between Cx9 and GX460

I have never seen anything better than 20mpg on my GX470. Even driving 1/3 of the way downhill, coming back from our vacation home in the mountains .... i would barely touch 20mpg on a 250mi long trip. If i drive with 55 mph most of the trip, it will be possible, i guess. But normal 70-75mph...

    Confused between Cx9 and GX460

I have to agree with most here. If you can get a brand new GX460 for such low price - get it! However, keep in mind, many Mazda dealers also have great incentives on CX-9 Signature as well. Here in the SF Bay area, there are a couple of dealers who will sell you a brand new '18 Signature right...

    Aftermarket CX-9 Exhaust tips?

Looks like these tips are out of stock on Amazon. :( Any other sellers you can recommend? I am sure Ebay has tons of options but you never know what quality one will get and if the fit will be good.

TPMS System issues? Am I the only one..?

This is for my recently acquired 2017 CX-9 Signature. When i first bought the car from the dealer a month ago, it came with a low air tire. The car was certified but even during the test drive, i noticed that the rear passenger tire seemed kind of low air. I purchased the car, took it home and...

    Aftermarket CX-9 Exhaust tips?

How do these tips install exactly given that the stock tips are welded? Do we install these on top of the OEM tips?

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

My questions were more general and not pointed at you, sm1ke. I was curious if anyone here has any previous dealings with this company. I did do some quick research on PB and I got to tell you, based on feedback from other forums (Porsche, Audi, BMW).... the reviews are very good. These guys...

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

What do we know about PB Brakes? Are they a well established company with a good track record with brake products? Do they make brake systems for other cars? How long in business? How easy is to find spare parts in the USA? I am all about trying new, cool technology in my car, but brakes is one...

Please keep us updated on how they fit and work once you get them. Very very curious and interested in this upgrade.

Anyone Here Get Their 2.5T Tuned Yet?

I kind of feel the same. I just sold my Stage 2 Audi S4 B8 and got the '17 CX-9 Signature. Love the Mazda, don't get me wrong, and i chose it after i test drove many SUVs, including Q7, Cayenne, MDX, RX350, QX70, ML350, etc ... but i am already 'bored' by the lack of tuning options for this...

    brakes upgrade

I have had some pretty good results with Hawk brake pads - specifically HPS, LTS and 5.0 models. Some people find them a bit noisy but i never had this issue if i bed them properly. I have used them on my Lexus GX470 (well known for "warped rotors) and my Audi B8 S4. Never had a warped rotor. I...

    Excellent price on CX-9 signature?

Go for it. This is a great price. I just got my 2017 CX-9 Signature Machine Gray, with only 8k miles, Mazda Certified,.... for $36.5k + tax, in San Jose, CA $38.6k, for a brand new 2018 is a no-brainer. If i saw this deal a week ago, i would be driving a 2018, not 2017. :) My local dealer...
