The fact that it’s a diesel should have been in your first post. It will need the oil pan off and the oil strainer cleaning or renewing, they get clogged with carbon. Once you’ve done it, reduce the oil change period to 6000 miles and only use C3 oil which has a low ash content.

If it isn’t showing any problems now, they’ll take the view that it could have been sticky pins and you didn’t give them chance to check. In other words there is nothing to fix. Their first step in warranty would probably have been the same. Is this a KE or a KF?

Not on an 18 as far as I know and this post about a 2 second drag isn’t quite accurate. The system will indeed hold the car for 2 seconds but releases immediately when driving away.

I don’t know if it’s related but you can’t put the auto hold on then reverse out of a parking place. It only works in a forward gear.
